With over 200 golf courses in Wales and staging next years Ruder Cup, Northop Country Park has been voted in 20 th position please visit www.top100golfcourses.co.uk and the only golf course in Flintshire to be awarded the certificate of Merit with a top 5 point rating ( please see review). www.northopcountrypark.co.uk Northop Country park and golf course is set in 247 acres of stunning parkland boasting a challenging course and USGA greens we are one of the longest courses in Wales @ 6535 yds having 4 par 5 s and a number of tricky water hazards ! ‘We are extremely pleased to be awarded our status within Wales, a tremendous amount of effort and financial recourses has been put into Northop over the past 3 years and we are now seeing the benefits, we have recently opened a state of the art gym and a full power plate studio and are awaiting flintshires planning decision on a swimming pool and spa facility due in December 2009, In theses extremely testing times its great news for us all at Northop and i would like to thank the staff for their huge efforts over the past few years and not forgetting the members who have stuck with us knowing the dividends the alterations and improvements would make.
