Northop Country Park is proud to present clay pigeon shooting.
We welcome organisations looking to entertain clients; the seasoned shot or the individual who would like to learn a new sport. Clay pigeon shooting is great fun and achievable for all levels of shooter. Northop Country Park offers you a multi-discipline clay target shooting ground, the first of its kind in North Wales with great hospitality. Situated in stunning heather moorland this is as close as you will get to the feel of a real shoot. With brand new facilities this shooting ground has something for everyone.

Example of a clay pigeon day available
- Arrive at the club house registration bacon butties with fresh ground coffee
- Welcome & safety briefing. Introduction to your instructor
- Gun hire and safety equipment hire
- Practice shoot, fifty clays and fifty shots coached by a world champion
- Lunch stop - home-made hearty soup with sandwiches
- Shooting continues with a simulated game competition
- Back to the lodge for a final cup of tea and to share stories of triumph.
